Not sure what to make of this. I don't know if JS is telling us that EJ and Nicole will work, as in, they will be together, or if he is just giving his opinion on the possibility of Ejole.

That's why I didn't post it in the spoiler section. I think it's just his opinion regarding the relationship and why he thinks it works. The only people who really know what's going to happen are the writers anyway.

Yeah, I think it may just be his opinion. I dunno, but Ari's interviews and JS's recent statements makes it seem like they are giving a Dear John letter to Ejole fans.

I guess this is his statement that he made to the other press. It sounds the same. EJ and Nicole are perfect and he hopes they can get over their trust issues...sorry...been there done that..have the scars to prove it. Sorry... not very positive tonight.

Huh. I'm surprised anyone's bothered by this statement. Maybe it's that for me, I don't really put stock into what the actors say in terms of where the storyline is going so I don't read their stuff expecting to get spoilers. But even so, "I think things will play out well with Nicole" is fairly specific--if you're inclined to parse statements from actors, then "will" is a much stronger statement than "could" or "might." I don't really see how that's less encouraging than "going strong" in February, for example, which could just mean they're still in a lot of story together but not necessarily romantic.
From what I'm seeing on screen, there was a lot of investment put into the scenes with EJ and Nicole this week. It could have been to wrap them up in an emotionally satisfying way--or it could have been to make a clean break from Dena's icky past and restart them with the script finally flipped and EJ being the one to hide a repulsive secret. Needless to say, what's upcoming is far from an ideal scenario, but I guess the bottom line for me is that it's just a TV show and if it sucks, I turn it off.

I think that what's different this time, in his comments, is that his focus is on Ejole and not eshami. There's already spoilers that says he immediately regrets what he did, which the old EJ wouldn't have done. I think Ej's thoughts will immediately be with Nicole and he'll be racked with guilt over "cheating" on her. This really sounds like an Ejole story, not an eshami story, and that's the only positive thing I can say about it.

i think they had these extraordinary scenes this week to restart them to show how much they really want to have the perfect relationship but cant because of the hurt btw them i really think that nicole will get pregnant this time but unfortunatley i think scrunchy face will too thats what is going to make it really messy and it may come out at the inauguration for ej and perhaps carrie will tell rafe because austin will be helping nicole hide her pregnancy from him or perhaps rafe will help nicole i just know with this there is going to be a whole lot of heartache dealt out and no fan base is going to be happy.
