And not to mention, if they have EJ ever thinking of Sami ever again when he has Nicole and breaks Nicole's heart, I will truly be done with this show. NOt saying that is gonna ever happen, but if they put Nicole back with EJ like this, they best not make her the loser in love or I'll quit this show so fast. I'll be done with EJ for good. I HATE SAMI WITH A PASSION!!!

That's the way I see it. If EJ really wasn't in love with Nicole then he wouldn't be feeling so guilty about what happened. He certainly didn't show any guilt when he was messing around with Taylor, so why would he now if he wasn't in love with Nicole? I just hope that this little guilt trip that he's having ends soon, because goodness knows I don't want to see anymore flashbacks.

Exactly NyC if he didn't love Nicole he wouldn't be feeling guilt. And he wouldn't care if Nicole found out.

I agree. We know that he cared about Nicole during that Tayho fiasco, as he admitted several times that he loved her, but wasn't in love with her. He had no guilt about hurting her over it, despite those feelings for her. He initially wanted to be as kind as possible to her, but guilt? No. There's no way in hell that he'd feel guilty over this nastiness unless he was truly in love with her. This is EJ we're talking about, that's just who he is.
Unfortunately, I think we are going to see the flashbacks ad nauseum from EJ, Sami and Will. I don't want every scene of Ejole being close ruined by it. The only way it will be slightly bearable is as long as it's clear every single time that EJ feels immense regret and is totally in love with and committed to Nicole.

I think of Tayho like that whole season on Dallas, where that character Bobbie, came out of the shower and DREAMED the whole thing. Tayho is a NON-FACTOR for me.

When a couple falls in love they should have weeks of just being happy, no secrets, no outsiders coming between them. I think they gave Safe more than their fair share of happiness.

As usual, I agree with Liz. I think the forbidden romance is Austin and Abby. But I want it to be Will and Sonny! Marlena v. Nicole. Bring it on, bitches. That will be fun to watch. And I, too, am interested to see if Marlena actually brings Sami/Sydney into it -- because watch out. I mean, sooner or later, Marlena has to admit how very much she f'ed up her child and Nicole is great at calling people out. But I feel Nicole will get yet another warning about EJ out of the whole deal. (boo! That's already getting boring.) But this could also establish a Marlena-Nicole connection for when Marlena learns of the whole Will/Eshami trauma. I hope they actually write and SHOW Ejole romancing. I mean, with all this "EJ plans a romantic dinner but is feeling guilty" crap, I fear we'll just get that he wants to, but can't. And Nicole is gypped yet again. Romance the hell out of her EJ! And feel guilty all the way -- but DO IT!

Speaking of dreams I was really hoping that when Sami was saying this was all a dream then she realized it wasn't...I was hoping that EJ would have played with her a head a bit and been like WTH are you talking about....I never had smex with you?!?!? Maybe he could convince her she was crazy (However...Will saw the act and so much for that theory LOL)

I thought Ej did show some guilt with the whole taylor debacle but it was secondary to what he wanted. This time around it is still about what he wants because that's how he is but lucky for us and Nicole what he really wants and more importantly what he Needs is Nicole. I think now that he has allowed himself to admit he loves Nicole and doesn't want to hurt her the guilt he feels is much more powerful. I for one really believe he has always loved Nicole but fought it within himself and deflected and focused it on other women to save himself and possibly in a way save Nicole because lets face it being loved by Ej can be very dangerous and painful. But I think our girl Nikki is more than up for the challenge.

Lord, I wish we could erase some things on this show and Tayho and Smex is 2 of them. Speaking of wishing smex was a dream, I figure we get the next 6 months or so of wedded bliss for our Ejole, the best 6 months of our lives and then when Nicole finds out and we get those sad but powerful break up scenes with Ejole and he's hit rock bottom, unable to live with what he's done to Nicole or to their relationship, EJ suddenly wakes up with his shaved head in the hospital bed.
He wakes up having just been shot by idiot Sami, a fact that is ever obvious to EJ, and he's calling out for Nicole but she's nowhere around. He's been in a coma for a year. Now, this is an opportunity for the show to either leave every one else's stories alone and just rearrange some things or just change EJ's for the most part. I mean, that way the writers could fix all the fuck ups like Dan being a Horton and Jennifer being estranged from Jack. The best part is Tayho and smex was just part of his nightmare while in the coma. His coma made him realize that he was still madly in love with Nicole and he couldn't wait to tell her.
Remember, when Ej was shot, him and Nicole were estranged. I don't want her with Brady but wouldn't it be funny if someone finally said, Why are you asking for Nicole? She and Philip are an item (yes, bring back Philip) or it can be any new guy. And then not only do we not have to deal with a long sad breakup, but we get to watch EJ chase after the woman he loves again and not have slept with Tayho or Samsquatch. What a way to get double Ejole romancing and chasing. I'm enjoying what we're getting now but I don't ever want Nicole to look at EJ like she hates him ever again!! And don't worry those that say what about an Ejole baby, because I say Sydney would be key to bringing them back together!

ha ha, ash! That's awesome.
Liz -- great minds! It IS like the whole Dallas-Bobby-Ewing-it-was-all-a-dream scenario! (I'll bet almost everyone on this board is too young to remember that.)
sigh. If wishes were horses...I'd ride away on one right now. And take Ejoleney with me -- the hell away from these writers!

Exactly NyC if he didn't love Nicole he wouldn't be feeling guilt. And he wouldn't care if Nicole found out. That's the way I feel about it too. If he didn't love Nicole he wouldn't feel guilty. He wouldn't care one way or the other if that wasn't true. I don't think EJ's flashbacks are him thinking of Sami. He has everything he wants right in front of him but he's haunted by the memory of his mistake. He knows he could possibly lose it all.
