Might have something to do with John since isn't it spoiled that John gets out of jail for Xmas? And at DR Jason had a preview for dec 5 and it had ej with John at the jail or with the judge or something like that. Maybe he decides to drop the case against John, and/or 'find' proof that it wasn't really John that did the embezzling. And since Nicole has been excited to exploit the John drama for ej's campaign, ej's decision to do this would 'freak her out'
That, or maybe ej asks Nicole to renew their vows along with safe--double vow renewal...who knows with these writers....

Somehow, Nicole finding out about the eshami nasty fits in my positive EJole spoiler, because the sooner she finds out the better off they will be!

Maybe Nicole freaks out because she keeps finding Ej and skanky having secret meetings. Her trust in him is very fragile and she knows him very well so I'm sure she suspects he is hiding something and that it has something to do with skanky. I bet she jumps to the conclusion that they are interested in each other again. Nicole Freak Out and Ej desperately trying to calm her down and hold the marriage together. I could dig that especially if he tells skanky off for coming round so often and giving him problems.

Well, according to AZ, Nicole's trust is very tenuous towards him. It should be. She been burned too many times and now see EJ and Sami meeting up together. I wish he told her the truth.

He should just tell her the truth.

I too am happy that Nicole isn't automatically going to be trusting just because she loves Ej's. The writers have to be careful because Nicole just experienced this with taylor and so she knows all the signs, so I dont think the truth could be kept from her too long unless they want to make her look clueless again. The sooner she finds out the better. I was worried they were gonna have nicole so trusting again, so I'm glad she is going in with her eyes open.

Ah, yes. Eshami conspiring. [eye roll] Yet another ploy to make me watch Sami. They are working overtime on putting her front and center, eh? eesh. And of course Nicole has to see it. Of course. Predictable. I do think EJ will cover up the convo with it being something about the kids. I wish the writers would put that in about his getting custody. That would be awesome. But I don't think so. Not yet. Maybe they just brooch the subject? I know that if it's not mentioned yet, it will be. And Rafe will be flummoxed as to how EJ got partial custody back. But who cares? It's bound to happen as part of the many mini-deals that Eshami will strike to keep their "secret." On a side note, about Nicole seeing them, I seem to remember a really great scene in 2009 when EJ went to see Sami and Nicole called him out on it, and he told Nicole: "I love you more." (Trying to think positively about this.) It would make a nice segue to Ejole romantic dinner stuff later... As for the Nicole freak-out, I think dropping the John lawsuit is a possibility, esp. if Nicole has been working so hard on it. That would definitely cause her to freak out. But then again, why EJ would offer to do that without having already won the election is beyond me. After all, the idea is to get John to repay the money he stole. At least, it would be from a penshioners' standpoint. His going to jail won't solve that -- unless they come through with jail PLUS monetary damages and EJ then thinks it's wise to drop the suit. We'll see. But it's not like he's doing Sami the favor; Sami hates John, so there's no connection there. BUT I am glad we have side stories like this going on, including the mother-who-art-thou mystery, mayoral race, Quinn/Millionaire Matchmaker. I hope Quinn really causes trouble for Ejole. Perhaps Quinn starts coming on to Nicole or doing something dangerous that causes EJ to step in and shut that bad boy down in order to protect her. That would rock! And Will. I love this actor! I hope I can watch a great deal of Will's story w/o revisiting the smex scene in flashbacks, but I have no such delusions. But there again, putting Will in the middle like this -- dang, that sounds even worse -- okay, well, having him undergo this trauma just as Sami saw Jarlena together before will make this story more about Sami and Will and Jarlena than about Eshami. I like that, too. I, too, re-watched the Nicole I-love-you scene, and yes, I'm still mad at the writers for putting Sami and John above Ejole. I mean, they had the need to have EJ mention Johnny so much that they go over to see him and set up that little convo between EJ and Sami, and then, oh, by the way, can you believe that about John's confession? It seems they put everything else under the sun in there but the fact that Nicole just admitted she loves him! It still rankles. BUT I'm also glad EJ didn't say he loved her yet. And that also means that the big EJ I-love-you reveal will get the attention it deserves. At least, I hope they're smart enough to realize what a huge moment that will be. In the meantime, looking forward to 12/6. Let the romancing begin!

Me too. Even though I am not in favor of EJ's parentage being changed (ENOUGH with the "oops, X is really my father/mother" stories, especially when the only one I would actually care about is Sydole and if they're not going to do that one, then don't bother), what I DO like about that possibility is that EJ for once in his fricking life will be doing something that doesn't involve victimizing or obsessing over Sami. Since his introduction in 2006, the only scheme I can think of that he was involved in that did NOT involve her in some way was the feud with the Kiriakii in 2009. He was passively a semi-victim of the baby switch story at Nicole's hands (oh noes! she gave him his own child!) and an intended victim at Sami's hands, but he didn't drive story there and again, Sami was involved anyway.
This actually could give the character a semi-fresh start in a lot of ways. Personally I already feel it's a great sign that Eshami sex was used as an unappealing plot point to kick off story for Will and Sami but not to allow EShami to "work their way back to each other," a favorite phrase on the boards. Seeing nothing but disgust and horror from Sami apres sex with EJ is usual, but seeing it from EJ is a pleasant new development. E's reaction to me is very typical of men in general, let alone rich attractive men: when faced with a one-couch-stand that could have negative and unpleasant consequences for their lives, they keep their mouths shut about it. It actually strikes me as quite realistic that the woman, Sami, would feel so guilty that she wants to unburden herself (and let Rafe share in the suffering), whereas the man is like, there's no need to drag everyone else down, it'll just be worse if we tell anyone and I don't want to deal with it so keep your trap shut.
Anyway, in DenaLand, the secret itself would have been enough story: not just the baby switch, but the Phloe ONS are examples of the need to keep the secret driving every other aspect of story. Here, it looks like EJ is going to have other things going on in his life that, although they will be affected at times by his secret, can function independently of the secret and trying to make sure it doesn't come out. As peachy said, there have to be various reasons why EShami will have to meet and confer: first agreeing to keep it secret, then wondering if anyone knows, then probably when Sami finds out Will knows, etc etc. , but it doesn't sound like that will be the only thing going on in EJ's life by any stretch.

I think they are letting time go by on this smex act to allow for either Nicole or Sami or both (remember are you ready for the round 2 business?) to find out they're pregnant. And if the worst does happen and they both end up pregnant again and not just Nicole, then I think that Nicole will find out about the smex and be hurt and run from EJ keeping her pregnancy a secret from him and Sami will have a miscarriage no matter who the father is. Actually, losing the baby probably will be the reason why Rafe comes back to her.

Does SOD or SOW preview the new year?
I'm wondering if Nicole's the only one pregnant and Sami was to deal with the fallout of Will knowing her secret?
As for the ridiculous egg story, I don't care but everyone's speculating that EJ's parentage could change on both sides. The funniest is that his father is John and Hope (when she was Princess Gina and in love with "Father" John.) I highly doubt KA would like that change one bit. Wouldnt it also mean eshami are related? (Among other disgusting things that eshami have shared.)

I was wondering how would you all feel if EJ had a twin brother? Of course the twin would be played by James and he'd be the complete opposite of EJ and maybe work for Scottland Yard and fall head over heels in love with Nicole. And he'd be the one to give her that Tom and Alice Horton dream love that she wants.

One of the main reasons why Ejole work so well together is the fact that they are, as EJ said, "cut from the same cloth." They are the only two people in Salem who embrace their "bad side", and putting either one in a relationship with someone who has a personality completely opposite of their own would be a mistake imo. If they want to give EJ a "good" twin then that's fine by me, but I would prefer if the writers put EJ's twin with some other woman. Nicole needs to be with the real EJ.

But the idea of EJ being Hope's son is gross! Not sure how I feel about John being Ejs father. I really dont want EJs "dimera-ness' to be stripped from him.

If there is a twin out there for EJ. Nicole has to be with this EJ. Nicole and EJ both are devious but I like that about of them. A good twin for EJ will not work for Nicole because Nicole doesn't go by the book all the time and if she did, she would become boring and I don't want that for Nicole.

I too want EJ to remain a Dimera. They can change who the mother is, but Stefano must remain his father. As for an EJ twin, a double dose of James Scott would work for me as long as his alter ego didn't border on the same plateau as Santos (oh, the memory of that era still stinks my brain!). But, if that were to happen, Nicole has to be with EJ. EJole are cut from the same cloth and that's why they're so perfect for one another. I don't know. Marlene and Darrell have made me extremely nervous about their storytelling in the past few weeks. Goodness knows what they have in store for us next. As long as it's Ejole centric, I"m good.
